Who We Are

The South Western International Film Festival (SWIFF) is a four-day film and arts festival based in Sarnia, Ontario, situated between Detroit and Toronto. Founded by Sarnia native, Ravi Srinivasan (TIFF, Hot Docs, Reel Canada), SWIFF presents culturally diverse works from around Canada and the world through a robust selection of feature and short films, a live concert series, virtual reality exhibits, and an Industry Summit featuring free workshops with leading arts professionals.

 

Our mandate is to spotlight new voices, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ perspectives, and unique stories that engage Southwest Ontario's growing thirst for art and culture.
